Marc-André Pépin is a Canadian composer and pianist. In 2008, he released "Songs Without Words", his first CD, a collection of twelve original compositions.
At the end of 2010, a second CD entitled "Rendez-Vous" was launched. This album received a nomination in the Best Instrumental Album of the Year category at the ADISQ gala 2011.
In fall 2013, he released his third album "Variable Skies". As a member of the international co-op of piano artists "Enlightened Piano Radio", he had the privilege to participate to the "Enlightened Piano Radio Awards Ceremony and Concert" at Carnegie Hall in October 2015.
In 2018, two albums were released in collaboration with Musica Ficta Productions.
The first one, "Tempus Fugit", was out in February 2018. The album was also nominated in the Best Instrumental Album of the Year category at the ADISQ Gala 2018. In November, a Christmas album entitled "Silent Nights" was released containing 16 variations for piano of the famous melody composed by Franz Xaver Gruber "Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht".
In 2020, during the break imposed by the pandemic, he finished composing and recording a new album entitled "Hibernation", kind of metaphor for what we experienced during this period.
